Getting a Driving License in Singapore
The legal Singapore driving license age is 18 years old. To getting your driving license, you will need to pass a test of competence to drive which consists of a Basic Theory Test (BTT), Final Theory Test (FTT) and Practical Driving Test (PDT).
There are driving schools in Singapore, which offer training for a range of licenses.
Automobile Association of Singapore (AA)
Automobile Association of Singapore (AA) is the authorised organisation to issue International Driving Permit in Singapore. Following the Convention Road Traffic of 19 September 1949, this international driving licence issued by AA Singapore is valid for 1-year from the date of issue.

Pan Country Driving Centre (PCDC)
Established in the 1980s, Pan Country Driving Centre Pte Ltd (PCDC) was one of the pioneer driving centres in Singapore. Singapore Safety Driving Centre
SSDC, a private organization was established since 20 July 1983 as a pioneer driving centre in Singapore. We started training for motorcycle riders on 1 April 1985 and motorcar drivers on 1 September 1985. SSDC has spared no effort in providing students with the best facilities and instructions for training on road safety. We also conduct defensive driving and riding courses, refresher driving course for qualified licence holders.

Provisional Driving License
You can apply or renew for Provisional Driving Licence (PDL)
For learner motorists who are not eligible to apply for SingPass (e.g. work permit holders and student pass holders), you are also able to apply for PDL and renew PDL online using your FIN number and Date of Birth.
For foreigners (for eg. Work permit holders and S pass holders) applying for Class 4, 4A or 5 PDL, please note that you will need to apply in person at the Woodlands Test Centre (WTC).
Payment of S$25 for application or renewal of PDL can only be made over the counter at WTC using NETS or Cashcard.

Qualified Driving License
