The theme of this 6th edition of the African Diaspora Agro Food Forum is Investment, Trade and Transformative Development. This highlights the importance of enabling diaspora entrepreneurs access to funds, investors and markets .

The complex developmental challenges of Africa were further complicated by the global covid pandemic. However, the resilience of African diaspora entrepreneurs in the face of this global challenge, highlights their social and economic relevance in Africa and their ability to thrieve in an enabling business environment .

This event will be hybrid; physically in Belgium and online. On the first day of the forum, 21st of October 2022 will be the conference online and on the 22nd of October 2022 there will be the annual African Diaspora agrofood exhibition.

Our aim for the African Diaspora Agrofood Forum has remained consistent; to highlight the potentials of African diaspora entrepreneurs and provide a platform for beneficial exchanges and discussions that can help expand the role of African Diasporas in the agrofood sector.

For this 6th edition of the forum, we bring together again African entrepreneurs, policymakers, international agencies and organizations, to discuss and foster partnerships that will in turn create robust frameworks and links for sustainable socio-economic growth and transformative development in Africa.
