Going Global Asia Pacific 2022 Conference

As the first ever regional edition of our Going Global conference, the Going Global Asia Pacific 2022 Conference will explore International Education in the UK and the Asia Pacific region: How to pursue equity in an inequitable world.

The conference will be held in person in Singapore, with some elements available online. There will be networking opportunities built into the agenda for in-person attendees. There will also be organised visits and in-person meetings with local stakeholders in the tertiary education sector and industry. 

Going Global Asia Pacific 2022 will:

• Discuss how we move toward an equitable and climate conscious approach to international mobility, for students, academics and researchers.
• Share thought leadership, research insights, and international partnerships models, that promote equity, creativity and innovation.
• Consider how universities and colleges can best balance their responsibilities in local communities while embracing internationalisation.

Eligibility criteria

The conference is open to:

• Senior leaders (eg: Vice Chancellor or president) of tertiary education institutions from and engaged in international partnerships between the UK and the Asia Pacific region
• Funders of international education – both national and multinational
• Heads of other sector bodies (quality assurance, leadership etc)
• Heads of multinational associations of universities
• Senior government officials
