Kings & Queens of Comedy Asia: Ayam Pandemic Edition (Don’t Panic It’s Organic) – A Tribute to Jonathan Atherton

The Kings & Queens of Comedy Asia is back! This 9th edition of Singapore’s biggest stand up comedy extravaganza features eight of the hottest Kings & Queens of Comedy from Singapore and Malaysia. The cast for this year’s Ayam Pandemic Edition are Kumar (SG), Joanne Kam (MY), Sharul Channa (SG), Fakkah Fuzz (SG), Jason Leong (MY), Rishi Budhrani (SG), Kavin Jay (MY) and Jinx Yeo (SG). Start doing your ab exercises because this is going to be a night of serious, side-splitting laughter and belly aches by the time the show is over!

We pay a special tribute to the man who started it all — the late Jonathan Atherton. Chief instigator and founder of the The Comedy Club Asia and the person who conceptualised The Kings & Queens of Comedy Asia, he was affectionately known as the Laugh Guru to many of the comics you see today from Singapore, Malaysia, India, the Philippines, and beyond. It was his dream that the Kings & Queens will one day feature the up-and-comers of the comedy scene in our region. This edition will shine the spotlight on the once up-and-coming stars who today are stars in their own right, flanked by two of the veterans in the industry — Kumar and Joanne.
