The Role of Government and Industry In Shaping An Innovation Ecosystem

How can government and industry promote an innovative ecosystem? What role should they play to advance it? Public policy is a powerful instrument in the transformation of institutions which directly impacts society, including the business world. Industries can create the infrastructure but rely on the laws that regulate and protect their businesses. When challenges emerge, this may require setting aside old structures that hinder development. Innovations in government and industry are essential to find new ways for shaping the future together in the healthcare and life sciences sector by abandoning old ways of thinking and by encouraging society to embrace new ideas and new technologies.
