Located in Woodlands, Admiralty Park is the largest park in the north. Bedok Reservoir Park

Located in the north of Bedok New Town, Bedok Reservoir Park is popular amongst joggers and water sports enthusiasts in the eastern part of Singapore.

Bukit Batok Nature Park

Developed on an abandoned quarry site in 1988, Bukit Batok Nature Park features stunning views and crystal clear waters. Serene and tranquil, it is an ideal place for a peaceful nature walk. Suitable for beginners, the trek trail that Bukit Batok hill offers of 36 hectares, and 120 metres altitude, visitor can explore the forest for hike or to visit the WWII memorial, which commemorates the location of one of the fiercest battles that took place in Singapore.
Hardcore hikers looking to get closer to nature can go off the beaten path and explore some of the less-travelled forest paths, so just be careful!

Bukit Brown Trail

Since 1922, Bukit Brown was the first official Chinese cemetery in Singapore.
Due to its partially neglected mandate, Bukit Brown is almost like a nature reserve itself. Abundant birdlife and abundant greenery make this a great place to explore, a great place to learn about Singapore’s history and an excellent opportunity to hike in unusual locations.

Bukit Timah Nature Reserve

With 163-ha reserve includes Singapore’s highest hill, Bukit Timah Hill, which stands at 163 m and retains one of the few areas of primary rainforest in the country. The forest on the hill has been a botanical collection ground for more than a century, and the first known specimens of many species of Malayan plants have been obtained here.
Starting from a path off Hindhede Drive, a few minutes from the Visitor Centre, walk past fragments of antiquated structures that were commonplace in early 20th century kampongs. Apart from marvelling at the wonders of this ecological gold mine, you can also partake in activities such as hiking, mountain biking and one day nature camps for children.

Central Catchment Nature Reserve

The largest of the nature reserves in Singapore, the Central Catchment Nature Reserve occupies over 2,000 hectares of forest cover and is home to some of the richest forests in terms of biodiversity.
The Central Catchment Nature Reserve and the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve once formed a contiguous forest. It connecting to MacRitchie Reservoir Park, located at the southern-eastern end of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve, and is highly visited by nature lovers and sports enthusiasts. Changi East Boardwalk

The walk, with wide as 2.4 metres, and a 2.2 km long that stretching along the coastline, the Changi East Boardwalk is a must-visit for a nice stroll during the sunset, this is one of the best trails for hiking in Singapore.

Chek Jawa Wetlands

One of Singapore’s richest ecosystems, Chek Jawa, is an extensive wetland measuring 100 hectares, located to the South East of the Pulau Ubin island near the main island of Singapore. Chek Jawa is a unique natural area where six major habitats meet and mix.
The 1.1-kilometre boardwalk starts from the coastal forest—try to spot fruits such as durian and mangosteen hanging from the tree. You can climb up the 21-metre-tall Jejawi Tower, located at the entrance of the mangrove forest, for a panoramic view of Pulau Ubin.

Chestnut Nature Park

Chestnut Nature Park is located on the eastern end of Chestnut Avenue. visitors to Chestnut Nature Park can look forward to a range of recreational activities such as hiking, mountain biking and bird watching. Chestnut Nature Park is the first nature park in Singapore to have separate mountain biking and hiking trails with 81 hectares, making it Singapore’s largest nature park.
Chestnut Nature Park (South) has a 2.1km hiking trail, while Chestnut Nature Park (North) has a 3.5km hiking trail. This brings the total length of hiking trails in the entire nature park to 5.6 km.

Coney Island

Coney Island Park houses a wide variety of habitats, including coastal forests, grasslands, mangroves, and casuarina woodlands. Kent Ridge Park

Featuring natural vegetation and a high biodiversity of wildlife, Kent Ridge Park is also a favourite of nature lovers. Keppel Hill Reservoir Trek

Located off Telok Blangah Road, the Keppel Hill Reservoir Trek is one of those less commercialized walking trails. This colonial-era reservoir was formerly a source of water for the Tanjong Pagar dockyard before being used as a swimming pool in 1938.

Labrador Nature Park, also known as Labrador Nature Reserve, is a 9-km long trail of greenery along the Southern Ridges of Singapore. Built on the edge of the secondary forest with a prime vantage point of the cliff-side vegetation and a picturesque view of the sea with 22 hectares area.

About TreeTop Walk

The TreeTop Walk (TTW) is the highlight of several long hiking routes in MacRitchie that brings you through the different stages of a mature secondary forest. The total length of the walkway is about 250 m and its height from the forest floor varies, with the highest point at 25 m.

Mount Faber Park

One of the oldest parks in Singapore, Mount Faber Park is a popular tourist destination, offering visitors a host of activities you can enjoy panoramic view of the southern part of Singapore and the southern islands.

Mount Imbiah Trail

Located in Sentosa, Imbiah Trail, also known as ‘Mount Imbiah’ – it is 65 metres above sea level, this is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Singapore. A forested hill that’s only 80m high, Mount Imbiah is one of two protected nature areas on Sentosa. 2.3km in length, this network trail takes about 30 to 40 minutes to complete.

St John’s Island

Saint John Island, formerly known as Pulau Sakijang Bendera. The island is located about 6.5 km south of the main island of Singapore, from the Singapore Strait.
St. John’s Island is home to mangroves, coastal plants and coral reefs and very popular for weekend visits. With 2.8 km trail, St. John’s is the largest island in the group and so it is the only one which has a real hiking trail marked on the floor with blue and yellow lines.

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

Sungei Buloh was first opened as a Nature Park in 1993. In 2002, with 130 hectares were officially gazetted as a Nature Reserve and renamed Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.
Enjoy an up-close look at mud lobsters, tree-climbing crabs and monitor lizards when you stroll along the 500-metre-long boardwalk of the mangrove swamps in Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, which runs parallel to the Wetland Centre. If you like hiking, you can try The Forest Walk is a great place for nature appreciation. The Learning Forest

The Learning Forest is located in the new Tyersall-Gallop Core of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. It is designed to integrate with the existing 6-hectare Rain Forest to form an enlarged forest habitat.
Visitors can learn about freshwater forest wetland ecosystems at the Keppel Discovery Wetlands and walk amongst a collection of some of the tallest tree species in Southeast Asia at the SPH Walk of Giants. It is good place for an easy hike and is easy to get to.

The Rain Forest Walk (Botanic Gardens)

Thomson Nature Park

Located to the east of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve (CCNR), between Old Upper Thomson Road and Upper Thomson Road, Thomson Nature Park complements existing nature parks including Springleaf and Windsor Nature Parks to extend the green buffer for the CCNR. There are five trails to choose from that span over 3.8km.
This 50-hectare buffer park is unique for its rich cultural heritage as the site of a former Hainan Village. As you walk through the regenerating secondary forest, you can learn about the site’s history and don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for the numerous faunal species inhabiting the forest and freshwater habitats in the nature park.

Windsor Nature Park

Located off Venus Drive at the Upper Thomson area, the 75-hectare Windsor Nature Park is a green buffer for the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. A combination of three different trails amounting to a distance of 3.85 kilometers, Windsor Nature Park provides a hiking experience filled with greenery, boardwalks, cobblestones, and freshwater streams.
Over there you can visit the Hanguana Trail to appreciate the variety of native plants along the trail. Spot the talented mimic, the Greater Racket-tailed Drongo, as you explore the Drongo Trail! For a more challenging hike, head up to the TreeTop Walk.
