Chinese and Japanese Gardens (Temporary Closed)


Chinese Garden is a park in Jurong East, Singapore. Built in 1975 by the JTC Corporation and designed by Prof. Yuen-chen Yu, an architect from Taiwan, the Chinese Garden’s concept is based on Chinese gardening art. The main characteristic is the integration of architectural features with the natural environment.
Jurong Lake Gardens is Singapore’s new national gardens in the heartlands. It is a people’s garden, where spaces will be landscaped and created for families and the community to come together.

Clementi Woods Park is a community park in Singapore that is situated at Clementi Road next to Kent Vale, and along West Coast Road next to West Coast Plaza.
The 12-ha park, full of trees and natural vegetation, is a heavenly and welcomed retreat for those seeking a quiet stroll in the tranquil mornings or evenings. Dhoby Ghaut Green


Dhoby Ghaut Green was officially launched on 24 October 2009. It was identified as an interim park in URA’s Public Space and Urban Waterfront Master Plan 2003 and conceived as “City Room” for community gathering within the city.
The sculptural open-air amphitheatre is a landmark of the park, serving as a showpiece for the Architectural and Urban Design Excellence demonstration project and a performance venue to encourage public participation and enjoyment of the open space.

Fort Canning Park, an iconic hilltop landmark has witnessed many of Singapore’s historical milestones. The hill once sited the palaces of 14th century Kings and served as the Headquarters of the Far East Command Centre and British Army Barracks. The decision to surrender Singapore to the Japanese on 15 February 1942 was also made on the hill, in the Underground Far East Command Centre, commonly known as Battle Box.

Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage


Built in 1974,it is an artificial lake and feature a large stage known as the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage built on an islet in the middle of the water body. The stage is most known as the venue for the Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s monthly SSO in the Park open-concept concerts, hence giving the lake its name.

St John’s Island


Saint John’s Island also known as Saint John’s is the largest of the Southern Islands in Singapore. Its indigenous Malay name is Pulau Sekijang Bendera. It is located approximately 6.5 km to the south of the main island of Singapore, off the Straits of Singapore. It is accessible be taken by a boat from Marina South Pier.
The 40.5-hectare hilly island was transformed in 1975 into a tranquil getaway with swimming lagoons, beaches, picnic grounds, trekking routes and football fields. The island is also a haven for a host of flora and fauna, and is popular for weekend visits. There is also a small jetty at the southern end of the island to transport visitors to and from the mainland.

Telok Blangah Hill Park & Terrace Garden

Themed as the “Play Centre in the West”, West Coast Park is a large regional park located in the southwest of Singapore. A linear park comprising 50 hectares of park land, the park runs parallel to West Coast Highway.
Standing at the centre core of Area 3 is the Adventure Play Area that caters to people of different age groups, from toddlers to young adults. This is the heart and most active zone of West Coast Park. If you like a quiet and peaceful environment, the eastern portion at Area 1 would be a good choice for park users to rest and relax.
